The Tennessee Alliance for Legal Services’ (TALS) will host its annual Equal Justice University for lawyers, advocates, social workers, and others September 9-10. This year’s conference will be online, and the theme, “Resilient Justice: Building Resilience & Ensuring Justice” reflects a focus on equipping participants to advance justice during these unprecedented times. Outstanding keynote speakers and expert presenters will explore how to build resilience and manage change, solutions for legal issues arising from the pandemic and tools for advancing racial justice and equity.
NASHVILLE – The Tennessee Alliance for Legal Services’ (TALS) and the Tennessee Bureau of Workers’ Compensation (BWC) have launched an innovative new tool to help Tennessee workers navigate the workers’ compensation process.
Nashville, Tennessee – Tennessee Alliance for Legal Services (TALS) announces state and national recognition of TN Free Legal Answers volunteer attorneys for their exceptional contributions to the pro bono legal advice website throughout 2020. TN Free Legal Answers is the Tennessee-specific site of ABA Free Legal Answers platform, an online limited-scope advice legal clinic for low-income individuals.

Since 2017, TALS has worked with Kim Technologies to increase efficiency and effectiveness on our HELP4TN civil legal helpline. Our work with Kim has almost doubled the capacity of our helpline and allows us to provide a better customer experience.
