TJC helps individuals and families when they need help with their health care. If you want to see if TJC can help you, please call. Due to limited resources, TJC is unable to help every family that calls us. If TJC is unable to help, it try to put you in touch with others who might be able to help.

The ABA Military Pro Bono Project connects eligible, active-duty servicemembers with pro bono attorneys to assist with the resolution of civil legal issues. If you are an active-duty member of the military eligible for services through your military legal assistance office (which may include certain members of the Reserves and National Guard), you may be eligible for a referral for legal help through the Military Pro Bono Project.
The Mid American Pension Rights Program is hosted by Elder Law of Michigan, Inc. (ELM), a 501(c)(3) which is a nonprofit charitable organization that promotes and protects the rights, health and economic well-being of older adults and people with disabilities providing information, advocacy, legal advice and professional services.

July 2013 - The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs has announced its 2013 Supportive Services for Veteran Families Program Award Winners. Through the Supportive Services for Veteran Families Program the Department of Veterans Affairs awards grants to agencies who can assist low-income Veteran families living in or moving into permanent housing. Tennessee had seven (7) different organizations awarded funding to serve eligible Veteran families. Two TALS' alliance members were among the grantees.
Memphis Area Legal Services (MALS) and the Memphis Bar Association's Acess to Justice Committee presented Pamela Kelly of Law Office of Pamela Kelly with the Celebrate Pro Bono Award. Kelly is a volunteer with MALS' Pro Bono Project as well as the Memphis based Community Legal Center and the Tennessee Alliance for Legal Services' Online Tennessee Justice project.
