Upcoming CLE Events at TALS

TALS to host two CLEs in November 2012.

Please join us for a training for non-immigration attorneys on how to assist immigrant victims of crime in applying for U Visas.  It provides legal status to victims of certain serious crimes (including domestic violence, rape, abusive sexual contact, and felony assault ) who have suffered substantial physical or mental harm and can document cooperation with law enforcement.  Because this is a FREE CLE, lawyers will be asked to take a case from a pool of pre-screened applicants.  There will be a clinic a week after the training (November 17) where participants can meet their clients and conduct an intake with the guidance of an experienced immigration lawyer.

Find the registration form here.

The TALS Housing/Consumer Task Force will be holding a CLE event on Friday, November 30th from 9-3:30 at the TALS office in Nashville.

Please submit the registration form to hold your spot.
