LAET's O'Donnell Garners News Attention for Fair Housing Work

Legal Aid of East Tennessee's (LAET)  Emily O'Donnell has made local news for her work with fair housing. O'Donnell, who is an attorney at LAET's Chattanooga office, is assisting a Chattanooga Housing Authority resident facing eviction over damage done to his home by his wheelchair. O'Donnell is experienced in ensuring fair housing in Chattanooga. Her work earlier this year with residents displaced from Patten Towers earned her the 2013 New Advocate of the Year honor for the Access to Justice Awards, which will be presented at the 2013 Equal Justice University conference.
