White House, LSC Submit FY2013 Budget Requests to Congress

This week, both the White House and the Legal Services Corporation announced their budget requests to Congress for FY 2013 funding of the Legal Services Corporation.

President Obama's budget recommends $402 million in funding, an increase of $54 million over the current fiscal year.  You can see the President's budget request here.

The Legal Services Corporation, which, as an independent nonprofit corporation, sends its own budget request to Congress each year, requested $470 million in funding for FY2013.
