New Education Brochures

The Legal Society of Middle TN and the Cumberlands (LASMTC) has recently published several special education brochures on its website. The Legal Aid Society of Middle TN, the Metropolitan Nashville Public Defender’s Office Kids’ Rights Program, The Arc of Davidson County, and the Nashville Prevention Partnership collaborated to create a series of special education brochures, available on the website of the Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee. Printing of the brochures was made possible by an ARRA grant to the Kids’ Rights Program from The Bureau of Justice Assistance, Office of Justice Programs, USDOJ. The brochures were written to address specific problems happening in Metro Public Schools but the law is the same for all districts. Legal Aid programs may request copies of the brochures by contacting Beth Cruz, Metropolitan Nashville Public Defender’s Office Kids’ Rights Program at 615-880-3710 or emailing bethcruz@jis.nashville.org.
