    Corporate Counsel 2015

    Join Corporate Counsel from across Tennessee at this unique CLE event in conjunction with the Tennessee Alliance for Legal Services' annual conference, Equal Justice University (EJU). Earn 5 CLE hours (including 1.5 of ethics) and attend a Leadership Luncheon featuring remarks by  2015-2016 TBA President Bill Harbison.

    CLE Sessions

    Interpreting Body Language (1.5 DUAL CLE)

    Presented by Scott Rouse, a behavior analyst and body language expert, who helps business professionals make better decisions in real time using information gleaned from body language in meetings, negotiations, and work with clients.

    LGBT Legal Issues (1.5 GEN CLE)

    Bill Harbison and Abby Rubenfeld will discuss their historic case before the United States Supreme Court, Obergefell v. Hodges, as well as key legal issues the LGBT community faces.   

    Representing Nonprofit Corporations (1 GEN CLE)

    Neil McBride, former legal aid executive, will lead a session on what attorneys need to know when representing nonprofit corporations. He will also discuss recent developments in state and federal law.

    Virtual Pro Bono Legal Advice Clinic (1 GEN CLE)

    Learn about onlineTNjustice.org and how this innovative, flexible online model can fit into your legal department’s pro bono plan.

TALS' Executive Director, Ann Jarvis Pruitt, joined TALS after thirteen years at Dell Inc. where she served in the Legal Department as Executive Director supporting Worldwide Operations and later Ethics Investigations.
