    LAS-Clarksville Welcomes New Victim Advocate

     

    NASHVILLE, Tenn., April 18, 2014 –Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee and the Cumberlands, Tennessee’s largest non-profit law firm, announced today that Tiffany Bryant has joined the team as a victim advocate for the Clarksville office.

    Bryant previously served as a family advocate for the Child Advocacy Center of the 23rd Judicial District and has experience working with The Salvation Army: Joy D. Baker Center and the YWCA: Phyllis Wheatley Center. She graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in social work.

    “Tiffany is a great addition to Legal Aid Society’s team,” said Kevin Fowler, managing attorney of Legal Aid Society’s Clarksville office. “Her background in social work and advocacy makes her a perfect fit for this position, and we know she will be an asset to our clients and our firm.”

    Legal Aid Society gives free civil legal aid to people who have nowhere else to turn. It serves 48 counties from offices in Clarksville, Columbia, Cookeville, Gallatin, Murfreesboro, Nashville, Oak Ridge, and Tullahoma. Legal Aid Society is funded in part by United Way.
