WTLS Has 2 Attorney Openings

West Tennessee Legal Services, Inc. has immediate openings for two (2) attorneys in our Victim Assistance and Advocacy Project.  The attorneys will represent victims of elder abuse and financial exploitation in civil protection order cases, and provide legal advocacy on behalf of victims in various forums, including assertion of victim rights, and pursuit of benefits and resources.   Litigation experience on behalf of victims, and prior work with specialized client populations and/or ethnic or language distinct communities preferred.    Excellent verbal, written, analytical, problem solving and computer skills are required.  One position is based in Jackson but requires travel within the southern counties of WTLS’ service area.  The other position is based in the WTLS Huntingdon and Dyersburg offices, requiring travel within the northern counties of WTLS’ service area.  The successful candidates must be licensed to practice law in Tennessee.
