TALS' Online TN Justice site to be Implemented Nationwide

The American Bar Association's Standing Committee on Pro Bono and Public Service has unanimously approved the creation of a national virtual legal advice clinic based on Tennessee's Online TN Justice website. The site, www.onlinetnjustice.org, allows low-income Tennesseeans to post civil legal questions to hundreds of volunteer attorneys for limited scope advice and information. Most users do not qualify for legal aid and receiving an answer from a licensed Tennessee attorney will be the only legal assistance they will receive. The model has already been adopted by seven additional states. Online TN Justice is hosted by the Tennessee Alliance for Legal Services and partners, Tennessee Bar Association and Baker Donelson.
