TALS Hosts Safety Training

NASHVILLE -  The Tennessee Alliance for Legal Services (TALS) hosted a Safety Training in Nashville on Friday, November 15th.  The presentation taught risk reduction strategies to avoid dangerous situations. Escape strategies and defense options were discussed. The presentation was designed to be an engaging conversation between the presenter and the audience. The presenter shared case examples.The classwas not designed to prevent every dangerous situation. However, the class was designed to give the participants options for self defense and techniques to avoid the need for the use of such options.
