Do you have legal questions? Answers start at 1-844-HELP4TN, the free civil legal helpline. 1-844-HELP4TN was created by a coalition of Tennessee legal groups and Memphis-based International Paper. Together, they have joined forces to fund and operate a toll-free phone line offering legal information and referrals to low-income Tennesseans.

How does 1-844-HELP4TN work?

1. Dial 1-844-HELP4TN (1-844-435-7486) to ask a non-criminial question to a licensed Tennessee attorney.
2. During business hours, a call responder will answer your call, take down your contact information, and schedule a return call from a Tennessee attorney. If you call during non-business hours, you'll be directed to call again.
