LAS Gallatin Office Moves to New Location

GALLATIN, Tenn., April 17, 2017 – Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee and the Cumberlands, Tennessee’s largest non-profit law firm, announced today that it has relocated its Gallatin office from 650 N Water Ave. to 106 Public Square, Suite 109. The office space is located in the heart of downtown Gallatin in an historic building that dates back to 1924.

“Our new space has allowed us to grow to a three attorney office to better meet the most critical legal needs of all the counties our office serves,” said Allison Cooley, managing attorney of Legal Aid Society’s Gallatin office.

Three staff attorneys and two staff members work at the new location, providing free civil legal assistance to low-income individuals in Macon, Smith, Sumner, Trousdale and Wilson counties. There are over 37,000 low income Tennesseans financially eligible for services in the Gallatin office service area.

Attorneys and staff have already made the transition to the new office and have begun working out of the new location. All phone numbers to Legal Aid Society’s Gallatin location remain unchanged. The main number is 615-451-1880.
